Angela, Attorney Director at Wright Gray, has 19 years of experience as a criminal and civil trial attorney. Her primary practice is area is personal injury, distinctly car accidents, and she is an advocate for juveniles in various capacities. She has worked as an Assistant Public Defender in the 21st Judicial District and has held legal positions such as a managing attorney with a prominent law firm in Baton Rouge; an associate and supervising attorney at a prominent law firm in Tangipahoa Parish; an associate attorney at one of the largest personal injury firms in the United States; and a law clerk at Orleans Parish Civil District Court. She has practiced personal injury law throughout Louisiana through her private practice. Angela received her Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Southern University at New Orleans and earned her law degree from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge. She is admitted to all Federal District Courts in the State of Louisiana and is a member of the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. Angela Marie Elly, Esq. is a member of the New Orleans Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in which she lives by sisterhood, scholarship, and service.
